HC Deb 21 November 1939 vol 353 c1037W
Mr. R. Gibson

asked the Prime Minister whether he has considered the appeal of the Greenock Pacifist Group, passed at their meeting in. the Friends Hall, Greenock, on 7th November, 1939, and sent to him by the hon. Member for Greenock, urging that the Government, in consultation with the French Government, should indicate its conception of the structure of a desirable peace, and the contributions it is prepared to make towards the realisation thereof; and whether he has any statement to make on the matter?

The Prime Minister

I have received from the hon. and learned Member a copy of the Resolution referred to. I have nothing to add to the statements already made on behalf of the Government.
