HC Deb 14 November 1939 vol 353 c551W
Mr. Lewis

asked the Secretary for Mines whether his attention has been called to the fact that a group of petrol tanks in Colchester, the tops of which are painted white and which form an object clearly visible from the air, have not been camouflaged, and, as all the efforts of the local authorities to get them camouflaged have so far been unsuccessful, will he take action in the matter?

Mr. Lloyd

In the public interest it is not desirable to answer this question in detail. I am therefore communicating with the hon. Member on this matter.
