asked the President of the Board of Trade whether, in issuing orders under the provisions of the Prices of Goods Act, 1939, he will consider including book cloths in the list?

Mr. Stanley

As I have said, it is intended to apply the Prices of Goods Bill primarily to articles which affect most immediately the cost of living of the population at large. I do not think that book cloths fall within this efinition, but I am willing to consider any representations which are made to me on the subject
