Braithwaiteasked the Prime Minister whether, in considering the payment of any gratuity to members of His Majesty's Forces at the victorious conclusion of the present hostilities, such sums will be based upon the financial sacrifice made by the beneficiary as the result of his war service rather than the actual naval, military or air force rank held?
