§ Mr. E. BrownAs at 22nd October, 1939, nine local tribunals had met. The number of decisions given at that date was: London, 327; South Western, 166; Midlands, 18; Northumberland and Durham, 87; North Eastern, 28; South Wales, 99; South West Scotland, 148; South East Scotland, 19; North Scotland, 6. One hundred and thirteen persons were registered unconditionally by the tribunals as conscientious objectors, 365 were registered conditionally, and 189 were removed from the conscientious objector register.
