HC Deb 26 May 1939 vol 347 c2694W
Mr. Logan

asked the Minister of Health whether his attention has been called to the serious accident to two women and a child in Reading Street, Liverpool, last week, when a tenement flag broke and hurled them 30 feet down into, the street; is he aware that Councillor Past after the accident called the attention of the Liverpool authorities to the unsafe condition of these private tenements; has he made inquiries; and what action has been taken by the council to avoid further accidents?

Mr. Elliot

My attention has not previously been drawn to this matter. I am making inquiries and will communicate with the hon. Member.
