asked the Minister of Agriculture whether he will give the names of the organisations to be represented on the White Fish Industry Joint Council; and the number of representatives which it is proposed to accord to each?

The following organisations have been asked to submit names for membership of the White Fish Industry Joint Council:

  • The British Trawlers' Federation.
  • The Aberdeen Steam Fishing Vessels Owners' Association.
  • The Association of Sea Fisheries Committees of England and Wales.
  • The Federation of Port Wholesale Fish Merchants' Associations.
  • The National Federation of Inland Wholesale Fish Merchants.
  • The National Federation of Fishmongers.
  • The Scottish Federation of Fishmongers.
  • The National Federation of Fish Friers.
  • The Parliamentary Committee of the Cooperative Congress.
  • The Trades Union Congress.
  • The Association of British Salt Fish Curers and Exporters.
  • The Food Manufacturers' Federation.
  • The Corporation of the City of London.
  • The Midland and Southern Markets Authorities Association.
  • The Northern Markets Authorities Association.
  • The Oyster Merchants' and Planters' Association.
