Friend has no information to suggest that public assistance authorities are hot giving effect to the statutory provisions relating to wounds or disability pensions, but I should be glad to look into any cases of which my hon. Friend may be aware. The suggestion made in the second part of the question is not one which could suitably be adopted in relation to public assistance.
