Expenditure by local authorities upon their buildings in so far as it1644W is approved for the purposes of the Air-Raid Precautions Act, 1937, ranks for the grant provided for by that Act. Grants in respect of other matters will be available under the terms of the Civil Defence Bill when that Bill has received Royal Assent.
