Figures are available, however, of the number of appointments of men and 1635W women in counties and boroughs, respectively, in England and Wales during the last three years and these figures were given in a written answer to the Noble Lady, the Member for the Sutton Division of Plymouth (Viscountess Astor) on 2nd March last.
