asked the Secretary of State for War whether he will state the number of disability pensions and the number of disability gratuities awarded to members of the Territorial Army in the years 1936, 1937, and 1938, respectively, showing, separately, those granted for total disablement?

The number of disability awards for permanent or prolonged disablement to members of the Territorial Army during the years 1936, 1937 and 1938, were two, nine and eight, respec- which is the year to which I think the hon. Member intended to refer, was 180 of which 69 were provided with canteens. There is no record of the number which have applied for canteens since that date.
