HC Deb 11 May 1939 vol 347 c714W
Mr. Graham Kerr

asked the Secretary of State for War whether he will take steps to secure that, in future, measures of camouflage as applied to guns, tanks and other objects of military importance, will be carried out under the guidance of someone of recognised standing in the specialised section of biological science concerned?

Sir V. Warrender

The War Office has its own camouflage section of experts working under the Royal Engineer and Signals Board, and, in addition, has a Scientific Research Department. Outside scientific advice is obtained when required. The Research Section referred to by my right hon. Friend the Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster on 26th April last is also available for consultation.
