§ Sir P, Harrisasked the First Commissioner of Works what progress has been made in implementing the Resolution of the House that a memorial be erected to the late Earl of Oxford and Asquith?
§ Captain A. HudsonI have been asked to reply. It is proposed that the memorial shall take the form of a life-size figure in a suitable stone or marble, to be erected on the vacant plinth in the Inner Lobby on the opposite side of the doorway to the statue of Sir William Harcourt. My right hon. Friend has commissioned Mr. Leonard S. Merrifield to be the sculptor.
