§ Mr. W. S. MorrisonThe output of processed milks and the stocks on hand are carefully studied by the Food (Defence Plans) Department but they have no power to determine the scale of private manufacture. The desirability of augmenting the stocks of dried milk under the powers contained in the Essential Commodities Reserves Act has been examined and in the present circumstances it is not considered that any special action is called for with regard to this commodity.
