§ Mr. E. BrownInstructors and other industrial staff employed at the Ministry's Vocational and Instructional Centres are dealt with under the normal provisions of the Workmen's Compensation Acts and not under a special scheme of compensation. In the case of men in training who meet with accidents in the course of their training, ex gratia payments are made which compare favourably with the amounts which would be payable if the principles governing payments under the Workmen's Compensation Acts were applied.
