§ Sir K. WoodThe total area of land acquired at St. Athan, which covers requirements for the school of technical training and other units, is 895 acres, the total cost of which is estimated at £58,300. Prior to the acquisition of the land it was mainly used for agricultural purposes and included a number of small holdings. I regret that information is not available in my Department as to the rateable value prior to acquisition of such land as was not agricultural.
