§ Flight-Lieutenant Grant-Ferrisasked the Under-Secretary of State for India why officers employed on ferrying, solo, between Karachi and Lahore are paid an allowance of 100 rupees for this duty while the airman-fitter accompanying receives nothing; and whether, having regard to the fact that both pilot and fitter depend upon each other for the safety of the machine, a commensurate allowance can be paid to the airman-fitter?
