Duckworthasked the Minister of Agriculture whether he is aware that the minimum price of separated milk-powder manufactured by the spray process was fixed at 24s. per cwt. ex store or factory in June, 1936, 919W was increased gradually until it stood at 40s. per cwt. in October, 1937, and has subsequently been reduced to 29s. per cwt.; and whether, in view of this wide variation of prices over the three years, he will introduce as soon as possible a better system of price insurance and stabilisation for the milk industry?
