§ Mr. E. Brown, pursuant to his reply (OFFICIAL REPORT), 2nd March, 1939, col. 1425, Vol. 344), supplied the following statement:
At 13th February, 1939, 1,147 persons, aged 14–64, insured under the agricultural scheme of unemployment insurance, were recorded as unemployed at Employment Exchanges in the County of Durham.
