§ Mr. E. BrownThe available statistics relate to persons registered as unemployed at the Stalybridge and Hyde Employment Exchanges. The number of such persons, aged 14 and over, on the registers of these two exchanges at 13th February, 1939, was 4,863. This represents a decrease of 6,072 or 55.5 per cent., compared with 17th August, 1931.
