HC Deb 09 March 1939 vol 344 c2375W
Mr. Perkins

asked the Secretary of State for Air on what basis are the Air Ministry nominating pilots for advanced air-line training in the school run by British Airways?

Captain Balfour

The capacity of the school established by British Airways is at present fully utilised for the training of members of their own staff, apart from two Royal Air Force instructors who were sent to the school to obtain experience of the Lockheed air craft which have been ordered for the Royal Air Force.
