HC Deb 02 March 1939 vol 344 c1491W
Mr. Windsor

asked the Minister of Agriculture whether he has now considered a report from the National Federation of Fruit and Potato Traders with regard to the proposed amendments to the Potato Marketing Scheme; and whether he has now any statement to make on the matter?

Sir R. Dorman-Smith

I think the hon. Member probably has in mind the objections which were lodged by the National Federation of Fruit and Potato Trades Limited, to certain of the proposed amendments of the Potato Marketing Scheme. The whole matter is now receiving careful consideration, and I am not yet in a position to make any statement as to the form in which the amendments will be submitted to Parliament for approval.
