asked the Secretary of State for Air whether he will give the names of those municipal aerodromes at which no flying training is being carried out on behalf of the Air Ministry?

The following are the municipal aerodromes at which flying training is not at present being carried out in connection with the Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve or the Auxiliary Air Force:

Blackpool (Stanley Park). *Newcastle.
*Norwich.
Bury St. Edmunds. Plymouth.
*Carlisle. *Portsmouth.
*Exeter. Ramsgate.
Hull. Renfrew.
Inverness. Walsall.
*Ipswich. *Weston-super-Mare.
Leicester. Wolverhampton.
*Manchester (Ringway). Worcester.
*York.

Arrangements have been made, or are in progress, with a view to the provision of flying training facilities for the Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve at the aerodromes marked with an asterisk.
