BrownIt has been the position for many years in accordance with decisions of the Umpire that benefit is not payable for a period of recognised or customary holiday whether pay is received or not. I am not sure what the hon. Member has in mind, but if he knows of any cases in which he considers that the present law has resulted in hardship and will let me know, I will consider them.
