§ Mr. E. BrownI understand from the Unemployment Assistance Board that Mr. Cross had a substantial sum in the bank on which he was drawing at an average rate of over £3 10s. a week and in these circumstances they took the view that he was using the money to meet his current needs. They therefore decided that he was not in need of an allowance from public funds. Mr. Cross appealed on the 17th May, and the Tribunal came to the same conclusion as the Board.
