§ Captain WallaceThe rights and obligations of pedestrians at controlled and uncontrolled crossings are indicated on page 23 of the supplementary notes in The Highway Code. Advice to pedestrians as to the use of controlled crossings is included in paragraphs 96, 98 and 99 of the Code. The instructions in the Code seem to me to be clear but I will see whether they can be improved.
