asked the President of the Board of Trade what are the terms of reference of the Merchant Ship Reserve Advisory Committee?

§ Mr. Stanley
The terms of reference of the Committee are as followTo consider the arrangement to be made for the purchase of merchant ships to form a. reserve of tonnage for use in emergency and for the maintenance of such ships while in reserve, and to make recommendations to the Board of Trade on these matters and on other matters concerned with the reserve of tonnage which may be referred to them by the Board of Trade.
