§ Major TryonYes, Sir, negotiations are continuing and agreement has been reached on certain points. On other points, including the salaries of various individuals, further representations which have just been received from the Association are being considered, but I can give no undertaking as to the result of such consideration. A number of the persons concerned have had their salaries increased in April last.
