HoareA number of fire authorities in the county of Norfolk have consulted my Department regarding points arising in connection with their obligations under the Fire Brigades Act, 1938, but that Act does not provide for the submission of schemes to the Home Office. As regards the second part of the question, I am not aware of any general scheme for the county and the Fire Service Commission have not yet had opportunity or occasion to undertake any general review of the local fire services provided by fire authorities.
