§ Sir J. Anderson:Yes, Sir. The wardens' service is intended to comprise both men and women among its personnel, and large numbers of women have shown their public spirit by joining it. It is certainly intended that scheme-making authorities should include among their whole-time warden personnel a proportion of suitable women to serve on such duties as may be appropriate.
