Duckworthasked the Parliamentary Secretary to the Board of Education whether arrangements have now been made to ensure the co-operation of the British Broadcasting Corporation in the physical and recreational training movement; and, if so, when he anticipates it will be possible to arrange for such co-operation?
Mr. LindsayIf my hon. Friend is referring to the proposals for the early morning broadcasting of physical exercises which were recently under consideration, I regret that it has not been possible to arrange for such broadcasts. The British Broadcasting Corporation have, however, given and will, I hope, continue to give valuable support to the Fitness Campaign in other parts of their programme.
