Jonesasked the Secretary of State for the Colonies whether he is aware that the police in Palestine have attempted to prevent Jews from settling Jewish-owned land since the publication of the recent White Paper [Cmd. 6019]; and whether he will take steps to prevent any further action on these lines?
Mr. M. MacDonald:The answer to the first part of the question is in the negative, but I am making inquiries of the High Commissioner. The second part of the question does not therefore at present arise.
