§ Mr. StanleyI assume that the hon. Member has in mind an Agreement signed on 26th June. The Agreement has not been published, so far as I am aware; but I understand that it is intended to ensure the proper working of the Exchange of Notes which took place last year. These Notes contained provisions relating to quota restrictions on imports from Japan into France on the one hand, and to the issue of import licences and exchange permits in respect of imports from France into Japan on the other hand.
