§ Mr. ShakespeareI assume that my hon. Friend is referring to reservists who are being called out for service in ships of the Reserve Fleet on 31st July. Men of the Royal Naval Reserve to be called out for this period of service are those belonging to the General Service section, which consists primarily of foreign-going seamen. Herring fishermen enrolled in the Royal Naval Reserve are allocated to the Patrol Service section and will not in general be affected.
