BrownThe table below shows the average numbers of unemployed persons, aged 18 and over, on the registers of the Cockfield and Stanhope Employment Exchanges in the years ended June, 1936, 1937, 1938 and 1939. The figures are based on a count taken on one day in each month. Separate figures are not available in respect of unemployed juveniles aged 14–17 in these areas.
