§ Mr. ButlerHis Majesty's Consul-General at Vienna obtained from the local authorities a promise that Mr. Lennox would be allowed to communicate with his family, and on learning that Mrs. Lennox was not, in fact, receiving any letters, repeatedly reminded the local authorities of their promise.
Instructions were recently sent to His Majesty's Ambassador at Berlin to pro test against the delay in ending the period of close arrest.
