HL Deb 13 July 1939 vol 114 cc187-8WA
THE MARQUESS OF ZETLAND

My Lords, before moving the Motion for adjournment, it may be convenient for your Lordships to know that Lord Phillimore's Motion about evacuation is postponed until Monday, and that we propose to meet at three o'clock on Monday, accordingly.

LORD SNELL

Before the Motion for the adjournment is put can the noble Marquess give us any information with regard to the times of meeting on succeeding days?

THE MARQUESS OF ZETLAND

In reply to the noble Lord's question, I understand it is desirable that the House should meet at three o'clock on Tuesday, and probably also on Wednesday. On Thursday there is a social function, which I understand many of your Lordships may wish to attend. I think, therefore, it will be desirable to meet at three o'clock on Thursday also.

House adjourned at sixteen minutes before seven o'clock.
