WoodAbout 13,000 of the men being called up under the provisions of the Military Training Act during the next 12 months will be taken into the Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve: they will be selected from among those who have expressed a preference for Air Force service. Applications by these men for transfer to the Regular Air Force will be considered sympathetically within the establishment.
