Mr. De la Bèreasked the President of the Board of Trade whether, distinct from the present activity on armaments, the Government are considering taking further steps to maintain the volume of industry, trade, and commerce of this country; and whether, in this connection, they are considering the further expansion of barter trade arrangements between Great Britain and the United States?
