§ Mr. Parkerasked the Home Secretary whether he is aware that considerable discontent has been caused in the neighbourhood of the Roneo factory, Romford, by continuous noise, day and night, and the unpleasant odours given out from time to time; and whether he will take some action to remedy this nuisance?
§ Sir S. Hoare:In view of the hon. Member's question I arranged of a 1517W special visit by a Factory Inspector, but his report shows that no complaints have been received in recent years and that he could find no ground for any action under the Factories Act.
