Mr. Jenkinsasked the Minister of Health whether he has considered a communication from the secretary of the County Councils' Association, and from the Secretary of the Association of Municipal Corporations, informing him that a conference of representatives of the public assistance committees of England and Wales unanimously carried a resolution in favour of increasing the rate of old age pensions, and in favour of making representations to the Government on that subject; whether he has been asked to receive a deputation from the associations mentioned; and what decision he has reached in regard thereto?
