§ Mr. Muffasked the President of the Board of Trade whether, in view of the necessity for merchants to hold large stocks of canned foods in this country, he will now take steps to provide adequate insurance facilities in the event of the outbreak of war?
§ Mr. StanleyI cannot at present add to the statement on this matter made by my right hon. Friend the Chancellor of the Exchequer on 31st January, except to say that the details of the scheme for the insurance against war risks of stocks of essential commodities are under active consideration.
