§ Mr. StanleyI am aware that this factory was closed recently. It was stated in the Annual Report of Ismay Industries, Limited, for 1937, that their cable factory at Dagenham had been built at a cost of over £100,000; in the company's report issued yesterday, it is stated that the sale 1565W of the factory shows a substantial loss on the original investment but that the sale avoids the need of providing further money for a business that was not a profit-making concern.
