HC Deb 09 February 1939 vol 343 c1151W
Mr. Johnston

asked the Minister of Labour whether his attention has been called to the application for unemployment benefit made by John Meek, 25, Castle View, Haggs, Stirlingshire, on 4th November last; whether it is established that although premiums were deducted from his wages his late employers failed to see that his cards were properly stamped; and whether he will now give instructions for a decision in this case to be expedited?

Mr. E. Brown

The right hon. Member has written to me about this case, which is now under urgent inquiry, and I will write to him as early as possible.
