asked the Home Secretary whether he will state the number of applications received during 1938 for certificates of disablement and for certificates that death was caused by silicosis from coalminers under the Various Industries (Silicosis Scheme), and the number of such applications granted and the number refused, giving separate particulars for the South Wales coalfield and for the anthracite coalfield of South Wales, respectively, and comparative figures for 1937 in each instance?
