HC Deb 12 December 1939 vol 355 c1061W
Mr. J. Griffiths

asked the Minister of Health whether he has considered complaints from the residents of the Sandy district of Llanelly as to the damage caused to house property and gardens by the frequent flooding of the area and that the damage caused this autumn has been worse than in previous years; and what steps he is taking to investigate and remedy their grievance?

Mr. Elliot

I have received a complaint. Action rests with the Llanelly Rural District Council from whom I have had a report which satisfies me that the problem is in hand. I shall keep myself informed of the progress of measures for dealing with the matter.
