§ Captain CrookshankIt is not proposed to modify the rule that established women civil servants are required, subject to certain exceptions, to resign their appointments on marriage. Emergency arrangements have however been made, for the period of the war only, by which women 489W resigning their permanent appointments under this rule may be re-employed in a purely temporary capacity.
