The total quantities of rum, brandy and Geneva retained for home consumption during the year ended 31st March, 1939, were as follow:

Rum 581,448
Brandy 411,331
Geneva 57,057

The quantity of British spirits exported during the same period was 8,958,758 proof gallons.
