§ Mr. E. BrownI would refer the hon. Member to the replies I gave to the hon. Member for Dunfermline (Mr. Watson) on 13th and 27th July last. As regards the latter part of the question, Mr. Brown will not be eligible for unemployment benefit on completion of his training if he has not previously been insured under the Unemployment Insurance Acts. It will, however, be open to Mr. Brown to make application for monetary assistance to the Military Service (Special Allowances) Advisory Committee.
