§ Miss Wilkinsonasked the Minister of Health whether, in view of the conditions under which a number of persons in the clearance area in Bell Quay are living owing to the buildings in which they are living being partially demolished and the houses to which it was intended they should be removed being held up owing to the permission for the necessary loan being so far withheld, he will expedite the granting of the permission in order that these unfortunate people may be rehoused by the council before the winter?
§ Mr. ElliotNo formal application for loan sanction in respect of the rehousing proposals in question is at present before 2653W me but I am communicating with the Felling urban district council and will certainly arrange for the matter to be dealt with as expeditiously as possible.
